These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Global Butcher website and the purchase of products from The Global Butcher (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing this website or completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use this site or place an order.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old to purchase products from The Global Butcher. By placing an order, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal authority to enter into this agreement.
2. Products & Intended Use
The Global Butcher sells food products intended for personal consumption only. Products are sold “as is” and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
Customers are solely responsible for proper storage, handling, preparation, and consumption of all food products upon delivery.
3. Orders & Payment
Payment Authorization
By submitting an order, you authorize The Global Butcher to charge your selected payment method for the full order amount, including product cost, shipping fees, and applicable taxes.
Payment Confirmation Requirement
All orders are fulfilled only after payment is successfully received and confirmed.
Orders with pending, failed, reversed, or disputed payments will not enter fulfillment and may be canceled at our discretion.
This policy is essential due to the perishable nature of our products and is disclosed prior to checkout.
4. Fulfillment & Shipping
Shipping Scope
We ship within the United States only, to locations where product integrity can reasonably be maintained.
Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout and reflect actual supplier and carrier costs, including insulated packaging, cold packs or dry ice, and temperature-controlled handling. We do not inflate shipping charges or hide them within product pricing.
Delivery Estimates
Any delivery timeframes provided are estimates only and not guaranteed. Once an order has shipped, delivery timing and delays are the responsibility of the carrier.
5. Risk of Loss
Title to and risk of loss for products pass to the customer upon tender of the shipment to the carrier. The Global Butcher is not responsible for delays, losses, or damages caused by carriers, weather conditions, incorrect shipping information, or events beyond our reasonable control.
6. Condition on Arrival
Temperature-controlled and frozen products may arrive partially thawed but cold to the touch. Melted ice packs, condensation, and natural variation in size, color, marbling, or appearance are normal and do not constitute damage or defect.
These conditions are disclosed prior to purchase and do not qualify for refunds or chargebacks.
7. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
Final Sale Policy
Due to the perishable nature of food products, all sales are final once fulfillment begins. We do not accept returns or exchanges for preference-based reasons.
Damaged or Compromised Orders
If an order arrives damaged or unsafe, customers must notify us promptly and provide clear photographic evidence of the packaging and product. Approved claims may result in a replacement or refund at our discretion.
Order Changes
Once fulfillment begins, orders cannot be canceled, modified, or redirected.
8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
Customers agree to contact The Global Butcher directly to attempt resolution before initiating a chargeback.
Chargebacks filed for reasons disclosed in our policies—including shipping costs, carrier delays, minor thawing, or natural product variation—may be deemed unauthorized. The Global Butcher reserves the right to contest such chargebacks and to restrict or refuse future service.
9. Subscriptions (If Applicable)
Subscription orders are billed automatically according to the selected schedule. Each shipment is fulfilled only after successful payment confirmation and is final sale once processed.
Customers are responsible for managing subscription preferences prior to billing dates.
10. Website Use & Intellectual Property
All content on this website—including text, images, logos, and branding—is the property of The Global Butcher and is protected by U.S. intellectual property laws. Unauthorized use is prohibited.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Global Butcher shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the purchase or use of our products or website.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Global Butcher from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your misuse of products, violation of these Terms, or violation of applicable laws.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located within the State of Florida, United States.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the website or completion of a purchase after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
